The scheme is part of an ongoing investment by Yorkshire Water to make the site environmentally friendly and more energy efficient with a long term goal of becoming self efficient through hydro screw electricity and Bio-Energy gas production for renewable energy generation through combined heat and power units.
Circle Control's involvement in this scheme is the LV electrical installation for existing and new works which includes;

The works included extensive heavy duty cable supports, LV SWA cabling, instrumentation and control cabling, profibus PA and DP, fibre optic installation, instrumentation, building services distribution, internal lighting, emergency lighting, external lighting, heating / ventilation, small power including 110v supplies, trace heating supplies, fire detection and intruder supplies and site CCTV supplies. The fire, intruder and CCTV installation was by others.
The works had many obstacles to overcome but through constant site liasion with MGJV tasks were risk assessed and Circle had a 100% accident free scheme, even thou many area's involved working at heights, confined space working, hazardous area working and all in a live site environment.
